Continuing Karst Organics’ partnership with the Hatuhei cooperative for a second year, they were thrilled to be able to travel to this remote region of the Eastern highlands of Letefoho again and further develop the speciality coffee which these 26 smallholder farmers have been producing.

With Karst’s support and guidance, and following on from the overwhelmingly positive response to last year’s coffee, lead farmer Carlos de Deus and the members of the Hatuhei cooperative are more motivated than ever to continue to maintain the incredibly high standards they set last year.

Another partnership thriving on community collaboration, their growth and development of not only their coffee but also of their willingness to share knowledge and learn from the coffee community in Letefoho, has enabled them to continue to succeed in processing a deliciously sweet and complex speciality coffee.

Packaging:
Both 1KG and 250g are packed in TUV Austria Compostable Certified white bag. This is suitable for a well managed home composter but better suited to industrial composting. We have a twice monthly industrial compost collection from our roastery in Aberfeldy and can process any bags returned to us.
